Job description

Responsibilities Commercial Engagement Support
  • Support Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) account teams in preparing for sustainability-focused customer engagements, including Executive Briefing Center sessions and strategic account discussions.
  • Participate in customer meetings where appropriate to communicate Microsoft’s sustainability commitments and progress linked to infrastructure expansion.
  • Assist internal teams in responding to customer queries related to environmental impacts of cloud and AI, including emissions, energy consumption, and water usage.
Customer-Facing Content Development
  • Create and adapt sustainability-focused presentation materials for customer engagements, executive meetings, and industry briefings.
  • Develop briefing notes and key talking points for internal leaders involved in sustainability-related customer discussions.
  • Maintain customer-ready sustainability content aligned with approved corporate messaging frameworks from the CELA Environmental Sustainability team.
Field Enablement
  • Collaborate with MCAPS teams to support seller readiness on sustainability topics, particularly in AI and infrastructure growth conversations.
  • Contribute to internal briefing materials that prepare field teams for customer discussions on environmental impacts of Microsoft’s digital infrastructure.
  • Help scale consistent sustainability engagement approaches across regions and industry segments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sustainability, Marketing, Public Affairs, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment of sustainability messaging with evolving customer needs around AI and cloud adoption.
  • Support efforts to scale sustainable markets and infrastructure initiatives that enable broader digital transformation.

  • Show empathy, respect, and professionalism in working with colleagues and clients.
  • Promote inclusion and ensure diverse perspectives are encouraged and valued.

Qualifications Minimum / Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in CSR, philanthropy, corporate affairs, government affairs, business, international development, or related fields OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in the above domains OR equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating customer-facing or executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to communicate sustainability or technical concepts in clear, business-relevant language.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with sustainability topics such as carbon accounting, renewable energy, and emissions reduction strategies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise customer engagements such as briefings, workshops, or executive sessions.
  • Experience contributing to internal enablement, training, or readiness programs.
