Job Description Summary:

Our IT delivery and support system are continuously evolving to matchourentrepreneurial pace to meetevolving global regulatory, corporate compliance requirements andconsumer needs. The candidate in this role will work with our businessquality, safety andenvironmental(QSE)andenvironmental, social and governance (ESG)teams to roadmap desired system functionality and deliver scalable capabilities.

The Director, Sustainability Tech Leadrole serves as a strategic bridge between sustainability, business, and technology teams, translating environmental and social goals into scalable,datadriventechnology capabilities. The role defines the sustainability technology roadmap, governs architecture and data standards, and ensures systems are compliant withour Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem andevolving regulatory and reporting requirements.

The successful candidate has end-to-end architectural responsibility for systemswithin the sustainability technology stackand will work closely with other technical architects within the company to transform comprehensive integrated solutions, defining the enterprise sustainability technology roadmap,governing data standards, and ensuring full integration with our Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstratedbusiness understanding ofSustainability andexperience with QSE &ESG platforms (e.g., SAP SFM, Enablon)

  • Experience withStakeholder toestablishstrong partnerships and buildbusinessrelationshipsincluding leading highly productive teams.

  • Experience with Enablon or Enterprise Sustainabilityor related carbon management solutions.

  • Work withstakeholderspartnershipsto understand business strategy and define business architecture, inclusive of artifacts such as capability maps, valuestreamsand roadmaps.

  • Act as Technical Product Manager leading the project team that develops and implements the vision andstrategy for enterprise sustainability technology solutions (e.g., SAP SFM,Enablon)across our Microsoft enterprise platform.

  • Define strategic sustainability capabilities, technical architectures, and data integration patterns needed tosupport automated carbon accounting, ESG reporting, and supply chain transparency.

  • Provide architectural guidance to IT client engagement lead forsustainability teams

  • Propose, develop, and execute proof of concepts fornew technologieswhich could result in differentiating capabilities.

  • Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technology concepts, vendors, and products. As well asmanagevendor relationships.

  • Lead vendor assessments, security reviews, and compliance audits. Ensure compatibility and integration of products/services within the broader ecosystem.

  • Clearly defineobjectives, coordinate with vendors, and lead execution of Proof of Concepts (POCs) and test & learn pilots to investigate issues, accelerate learning and confirm feasibility.

  • Understand business needs, definesolutions, produce design artifacts with required functions,interfacesand detailed technical architecture, including system, sub-system, andcomponentdesigns.

  • Develop solution alternatives, schedule and cost estimates,proposalsand SOWs for approval.

  • Create and deliver presentations to senior leadership in support of technology strategy, investments, and initiatives.

  • Lead andfacilitatebusiness process modeling sessions to develop, assess, streamline, redesign andoptimizeprocesses and workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science,Engineeringor related field preferred

  • 5+ years' experiencewith Azure cloud services,Data Lake, Fabric orfull-stack application development, and product operating model delivery.

  • Experience inIT architecture experience with architectural oversight or managing dev-ops models.

  • Develop,testanddeploy appfunctionalities according to project specifications and development standards

  • Experience working on Sustainability platforms such as SAP SFM,Enablonor otherplatforms (preferred).

  • Excellent communication, presentation & leadership skills

  • Experience in setting architectural direction and successfultrack recordof delivering strategic solutions

  • Ability to translate business and user requirements into scalable technical solutions that enhance product differentiation, improve quality, and drive successful delivery.

Reporting Relationships

Role reports to Senior Director, Tech & Innovation Technology
