Manager of Digital Transformation, Boston Corporate Office - Boston, MA
Hybrid Position
Job Summary: The Manager of Digital Transformation is responsible for helping Beacon successfully implement and sustain digital initiatives by focusing on the people side of change. This role serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, subject matter experts, project teams, and end users to ensure new technologies, processes, and ways of working are adopted effectively and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
The Manager will support enterprise initiatives such as the Beacon Prioritization Matrix (BPM), BeBold initiatives, operational process improvements, and other high-priority digital transformation projects. The role will work across service centers and departments to translate business goals into practical change strategies, communication plans, adoption programs, stakeholder engagement activities, and measurable outcomes.
This person will play an integral role in organizational change management and helping the company embrace agile, digital-first, experiences at an operational scale. The role will be accountable for the Digital Transformation team, which currently comprises business analysts, knowledge writer, project manager/coordinators, and any temporary resources as needed.

The Manager of Digital Transformation will champion a human-centered approach that empowers employees, improves experience, strengthens collaboration, and helps teams embrace new ways of working that support Beacon's mission and long-term success.
Supervision Received: This role reports to the Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO).
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Corporate Office (Boston). Hybrid role.
Essential Job Accountabilities:
  • Lead human-centered design efforts through stakeholder engagement, discovery workshops, and journey mapping to identify employee needs, process improvement opportunities, and solution requirements.
  • Advocate for employee experience throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring digital initiatives are aligned with operational realities, drive adoption, and deliver meaningful improvements in how work gets done.
  • Facilitate organizational change management and adoption efforts for enterprise digital initiatives by developing change strategies, conducting impact and readiness assessments, identifying adoption risks and resistance, and implementing mitigation plans that support successful business outcomes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to build awareness, engagement, and commitment to transformation initiatives through effective communication, change agents, feedback sessions, workshops, and other stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Drive sustained adoption and behavioral change by organizing training, drop-in sessions, feedback mechanisms, and ongoing support that increase employee readiness, proficiency, that ensure successful adoption and transformation outcomes across the organization.
  • Develop and execute communication and stakeholder engagement strategies that clearly communicate project goals, expected impacts, timelines, progress, and outcomes while building awareness, alignment, and support for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, dashboards, reports, and executive updates for governance committees, leadership teams, project team, and key stakeholders, promoting transparency through regular reporting of project status, risks, achievements, lessons learned, and adoption metrics.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to create and maintain job aids, FAQs, process documentation, operational resource hubs, and digital knowledge repositories that support employee adoption and organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure knowledge resources are accurate, accessible, user-friendly, and aligned with business processes while promoting knowledge-sharing practices and self-service capabilities that improve productivity, consistency, and employee experience.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on change management and adoption outcomes, including engagement, readiness, utilization, user sentiment, and business impact using qualitative and quantitative data to drive recommendations, prioritization, continuous improvement, and organizational learning.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions and develop iterative enhancement roadmaps that improve future initiatives and align solutions with evolving business and user needs.
  • Support Beacon's digital initiative portfolio by managing project intake, prioritization, governance, tracking, resource planning, risk and issue management, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to remove obstacles, drive project execution, and ensure change management, communication, adoption, and documentation activities are embedded to achieve desired business outcomes and user adoption.
  • Partner with business leaders, stakeholders, vendors, and consultants to identify and deliver digital transformation opportunities that align with organizational goals, business needs, and adoption objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between business and IT team, fostering strong relationships, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring alignment, collaboration, and shared accountability across corporate and field operations.
  • Participates in the Regional Leadership Team (RLT), and assists executive team to drive engagement in these committees.

Qualifications:
  • Six (6) or more years of experience in digital transformation, organizational change management, business transformation, project management, business analysis, organizational development, or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading or supporting enterprise-wide change initiatives involving technology, process, or organizational change.
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience developing communication, engagement, adoption, or change management plans.
  • Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience measuring initiative success through KPIs, adoption metrics, or operational outcomes.
  • Experience leading business process reengineering, process improvement, operational excellence, or continuous improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
  • 3 to 5 years of prior supervisory experience required. Ability to lead a team and maintain high level of employee engagement.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, business process improvement, and project delivery practices.

Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field but not required.
Compensation: $135,000 - $145,000 annual salary
Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
