Director of Digital Transformation

The new Director will be required to lead the development of new projects from inception through to delivery into a production environment, and to eventually manage all IT capabilities. IT Systems to be managed are related to internal systems, project management, financial management and web platforms. All these systems should integrate seamlessly to conform to the new Transpak platform. The Director will work closely with the VP of IT, staff, especially managers, to assess the needs of users within the context of their business environment. The collaborative and consultative nature of the role requires a capacity to work with people at all levels in the organization and with people from many cultural backgrounds

Description

  • Perform industry research and advocate for additional resources to implement new technology.
  • Assist VP of IT with technology and process implementation.
  • Develop and lead the organization's special projects strategy in alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify project goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Evaluate technology performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
