What you’ll be doing:  

  • Gather and process critical case information, including medical records, radiology imagining and medical billing information.
  • Manage follow-ups and track HIPAA releases through FAX, Email, Mail, and third-party portals (ie. Datavant, ChartSwap, MRO, ect.)
  • Manage expenses as they relate to payment and release of client documents.
  • Draft and send request letters to medical providers.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and electronic case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. 
  • Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to support seamless case management and workflow. 
  • Handle administrative tasks, including mailing, scanning, and faxing important documents. 
  • Attend required morning and monthly meetings. 
  • Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Who you are:  

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of law firm experience. (College Degree may substitute time of experience)  
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Proficiency in using legal software, case management systems, or Salesforce is a plus.

  • Experience with Datavnt, ChartSwap, and MRO portals preferred.

Requirements:  

  • Hours: 8:30AM—5:30PM Monday – Friday 
  • Location: Full-time in office  

Mobility:

Primarily sedentary, able to sit for long periods of time.

Physical Demands:

Ability to speak, see, and hear other personnel. Ability to communicate both in verbal and written form. Capable of using a telephone and computer keyboard. Able to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to travel within the facility and to other locations as required.
