Medical Director - Maternal & Fetal MedicineLivonia / Grand Rapids / Lakeshore, MichiganPosition OverviewSeeks a dynamic, experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Medical Director to lead its Regional MFM team. This role offers the opportunity to provide clinical oversight, program development, and leadership across the West Michigan market, covering Grand Rapids and Lakeshore locations.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership
  • Lead and oversee the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line
  • Ensure the highest quality of care for complex maternal-fetal cases
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN Medical Directors and Administrative & Clinical Director for Women's & Children's Services
Patient Care
  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for high-risk pregnancies
  • Deliver diagnostic, consultative, and management services
  • Collaborate closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists
Program Development
  • Develop and enhance the MFM program in West Michigan
  • Responsible for achievements in Quality, Service Excellence, Colleague Engagement, Stewardship, and Financial goals
  • Oversee assigned offices and programs
Education & Mentorship
  • Mentor and provide guidance to medical students and residents
Qualifications
  • Board Certified MFM - Required
  • Minimum 5 years clinical MFM practice experience (post-training) - Required
  • 2+ years leadership experience or equivalent training - Highly Preferred
  • Not accepting: new graduates, locums candidates, or candidates with lapsed board certification needing to recertify
  • Visa Status: H1B candidates welcome; J1 waivers not accepted
On-Call Requirements
  • Call shared with MFM Partner/Medical Director
  • Primarily phone coverage, hospital visits as needed
