The Role
CCC is seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy to serve as a core member of CCC's Strategy function, reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategy. This role is the engine of CCC's corporate strategy work - leading research, analysis, and project execution across the company's most important strategic initiatives. The Director will work closely with the Sr. Director of Strategy and executive leadership team to translate strategic priorities into rigorous, actionable work product, and will play a hands-on role in driving projects from framing through delivery. The ideal candidate is an experienced strategy professional who thrives on complex problem-solving, is comfortable with ambiguity, moves quickly from insight to recommendation, and can manage cross-functional workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Strategy to manage and enable CCC's corporate strategy agenda in support of senior leadership
  • Support the annual strategic planning process, including management of cross-functional inputs and processes, thought partnership for leaders, and synthesis into a cohesive plan
  • Support the development of executive leadership team, investor, and board-facing narrative materials

Corporate Strategy & Research
  • Lead market and competitive assessments across CCC's priority segments, translating findings into actionable insight and recommendations for senior leadership
  • Research market and technology trends to develop proactive strategies for growth
  • Support the development of CCC's competitive positioning across the Insurance Ecosystem, including analysis of incumbent competitors and emerging entrants

Strategic Initiative Execution
  • Own end-to-end execution of high-priority strategy projects - scoping, structuring, analyzing, and delivering recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams spanning Product, GTM, Finance, and Operations, managing timelines, milestones, and outputs
  • Build the materials that bring strategy to life: executive presentations, board-ready decks, and ELT-facing frameworks

Partnership & M&A Strategy
  • Support the Sr. Director of Strategy in developing CCC's partnership and M&A strategy, including building the analytical and research foundation for prioritization and decision-making
  • Conduct strategic assessments of partnership and M&A opportunities, including market sizing, competitive positioning, and strategic fit analysis
  • Support build/buy/partner evaluations with structured financial and strategic inputs

Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of professional experience including at least 5 years of strategy consulting experience from a leading strategy consulting firm; vertical SaaS, technology, AI or Insurtech experience a plus
  • MBA from a top tier business school strongly preferred
  • Growth mindset with proven experience leading growth strategy, corporate strategy, and portfolio strategy engagements with successful outcomes
  • Experience managing a team to deliver results and impact
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver results with minimal oversight
  • Exceptional analytical and structured thinking skills, able to frame ambiguous problems and build rigorous analysis to drive decision-making
  • Skilled in using PowerPoint to create presentations synthesizing project findings and recommendations for executive audiences
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - including ability to effectively present to, persuade, and facilitate others, including senior level executives
