Job description

Zoox's Talent team is seeking an Executive Sourcer to join our Executive Recruiting function. In this pivotal role, you will act as a force multiplier for our Executive Recruiting team, partnering directly with the business to identify the visionary leaders who will drive our mission forward.

This position requires a highly strategic mindset. You will develop recruitment strategies, create data-driven market maps, and uncover passive leadership talent for our most critical Director, VP, and C-Suite roles. You will serve as the first point of contact for industry leaders, acting as a brand ambassador to articulate the Zoox mission and value proposition.

In this role, you will...
  • Market Mapping: Conduct extensive research to map the talent landscape in relevant industries (e.g. robotics, AI, automotive, software, hardware, operations).
  • Talent Strategy: Collaborate with the Executive Recruiting team and hiring partners to define search criteria and build top-of-funnel strategies for niche and hard-to-fill leadership roles.
  • High-Touch Outreach: Craft bespoke, compelling outreach campaigns to engage passive executive candidates. You will move beyond standard InMails to find creative ways to connect with top-tier talent. 
  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct initial high-level screens to assess qualifications, leadership capability, cultural fit, and genuine interest in the Zoox mission.
  • Long-Term Nurturing: Build and maintain a network of potential future leaders, keeping warm relationships with top talent for future opportunities as we scale.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 6+ years of total sourcing experience, with at least 1 year of experience focused on executive search (Director+).
  • Executive Sourcing & Talent Mapping: Demonstrated expertise in proactive candidate sourcing, including developing and maintaining complex talent maps and pipelines.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You must feel comfortable communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders and candidates.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to quickly understand a broad range of domains (Autonomy, Hardware, Software, G&A, Operations) and articulate how a leader fits into the broader business strategy.
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Interest in the autonomous and electric vehicle industry.
  • Expertise in leveraging ATS (we use Lever) to build metrics, sourcing strategies, and talent pipelines.
$123,000 - $161,000 a year
Base Salary Range
 
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
