Director of Engineering

We're looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Director of Engineering to help drive our software engineering strategy, lead technical execution, and leverage AI and automation to deliver scalable, secure, next-generation solutions. This role is deeply focused on engineering leadership and technical impact.


What You'll Do

  • Execute and evolve a forward-thinking engineering strategy aligned with company goals
  • Drive adoption of modern technologies: AI-driven DevOps, Generative AI/LLMs, DevSecOps, cloud-native/serverless architectures, microservices, CI/CD, and low-code/no-code platforms
  • Architect and guide the development of scalable, secure, and sustainable systems
  • Implement frameworks and best practices that accelerate delivery and improve quality
  • Manage and reduce technical debt while maintaining long-term system health
  • Establish and monitor key metrics for velocity, reliability, and quality
  • Lead secure, compliant, and innovative engineering practices
  • Lead and develop engineering teams, fostering accountability, growth, and high performance

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 7+ years of people leadership experience, including leading multiple teams or managing managers
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, CI/CD, and containerization tools
  • Proven success driving Agile and DevOps transformations
  • Experience implementing AI/ML and automation initiatives
  • Ability to translate technical strategy into execution and measurable outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (advanced degree preferred)
