Receiver - Building Materials
Layton, Utah
This role combines hands on work with attention to detail, receiving incoming materials, organizing product, and keeping track of inventory in a fast-paced environment. If your dependable, organized, and like staying active while using your problem-solving skills, this is a great opportunity with steady hours and room to grow.
Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.
  • Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
  • Records factors causing goods to be returned.
  • Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
  • Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.

Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
