Branch Manager – Building Materials

Position Overview

We are seeking a Branch Manager to lead the daily operations of a building materials distribution branch. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to manage a location as if it were their own. The Branch Manager is responsible for profitability, team leadership, customer satisfaction, inventory control, and overall branch success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily branch operations and ensure smooth workflow
  • Hire, train, and develop team members
  • Maintain safe business practices and compliance with regulations
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Drive branch growth and profitability through sales and operational efficiency
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, and cost controls
  • Oversee showroom and product merchandising
  • Supervise logistics, warehouse operations, and fleet management
  • Minimize damage and loss through effective controls
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of management experience, ideally in building material distribution, construction supply, or a related industry
  • Familiarity with residential and commercial roofing, windows, doors, or exterior siding a strong plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
