The US Digital Partnerships Fintech team is responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships and managing our relationships with partners across the fintech ecosystem. We work with the biggest names in tech, e-commerce, and financial services to leverage Mastercard's technological capabilities to solve real world problems for our partners and their customers, create new product propositions, and ensure seamless, secure and inclusive payments.
About the role:
In this role, you will devise strategies to work more effectively with payments ecosystem enablers, such as cloud-native payment processors and payment program managers.
โ€ข Own and manage a portfolio of strategic fintech partners, with accountability for revenue growth, pipeline development, and long-term partnership success.
โ€ข Identify client/partner needs and oversee the delivery of value-added solutions (fraud, identity, open finance, etc.) that address those needs.
โ€ข Analyze financial, payment, and market data to generate client-specific insights and strategic recommendations that drive revenue growth and partner value
โ€ข Collaborate with internal partners and customers to establish and execute annual business planning and quarterly review sessions to establish, monitor and report progress against joint objectives.
โ€ข Be the expert on your assigned clients' capabilities and be ready to provide insight into a partner's business, thinking strategically and broadly.
โ€ข Engage with senior executives across partner organizations to shape partner strategy and commercial agreements
โ€ข Negotiate complex partnership agreements, involving new products and pricing constructs
โ€ข Partner cross-functionally with product, legal, pricing, and network teams to structure and deliver integrated solutions
Job Requirements:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree required
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills.
โ€ข Understanding of payments marketplace and market research to anticipate how Mastercard products and solutions can help drive a customer's business.
โ€ข A blend of analytical capability, strategic thinking, and emotional intelligence and able to dive deep on all areas of the business to deliver creative solutions to unstructured problems.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
