Description

We have sold our product through multiple channels; employee benefit brokers, general agencies, third-party administrators, captives, among others, to small-to-mid sized self-funded employers.
As a Director of Account Management at Frontier Direct, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with an assigned group of clients. You will provide support to your book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. You identify opportunities to improve account management practices, reporting cadence and internal handoffs. You actively contribute to the development and documentation of account management best practices and standard operating procedures.
This is a full time position based in the Dallas, TX area with travel to clients required based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Account Ownership: Act as primary point of contact and internal owner for an assigned portfolio of health care clients ensuring needs, priorities and risks are managed and clearly understood across all stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Monitor account performance and health, ensure accurate (customer relationship management) CRM documentation and tracking and internal and external stakeholder alignment to drive clear, actionable outcomes for clients.
  • Client Onboarding: Lead new client implementations, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and positioning clients for long-term success with Frontier Direct Care's membership and services.
  • Retention: Ensure client satisfaction by aligning Frontier solutions with customer needs to drive retention.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide executive-level communications to clients and internal stakeholders including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), renewal discussions, strategic planning sessions etc.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Lead within the account management function by demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to guide others through complex client needs. The role encompasses responsibility for mentoring, developing, and, when applicable, directly managing team members, while promoting continuous learning, long-term development, and professional growth through sharing best practices, providing constructive feedback, and modeling strong account relationship management

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of account management experience
  • Healthcare, self-funded, ancillary benefits industry experience
  • Experience driving impact in a metrics/KPI based environment
  • Experienced in executive-level communications to clients and internal stakeholders including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), renewal discussions, strategic planning sessions
  • New client onboarding experience
  • Experience building and owning relationships with employee benefit brokers in an assigned book of business
  • Experience mentoring and/or managing teams
  • Ability to travel to client sites based on business need
