Job description

Receptionist/Mail Coordinator

ISS offers full-time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00 per hour.

The work hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

This role serves as the first point of contact for all visitors and colleagues, creating a welcoming, professional, and seamless front-of-house experience. From the moment someone enters the building, this position sets the tone through presence, service, and attention to detail.

In addition to delivering an exceptional guest experience, this role supports essential site operations through coordination of mailroom, shipping/receiving, and courier services. These responsibilities are carried out with the same level of care, organization, and accountability that defines the front desk experience.

Success in this role means maintaining a strong, visible lobby presence while ensuring reliable and efficient operational support behind the scenes.

Effectively balances front desk responsibilities with mailroom and operational tasks

Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and attention to detail

Partner with the Workplace Experience Manager, Facilities Manager, and other account leadership to support daily operations

Communicate effectively across the business unit to ensure alignment and information sharing

Collaborate with team members to deliver a consistent and high-quality experience

Support cross-functional teams as needed to meet site and customer needs

High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

2+ years in a front-facing customer service, reception, or hospitality role

Experience in a corporate or professional services environment preferred

Exposure to mailroom, shipping/receiving, or logistics support is a plus

Strong interpersonal presence with the ability to engage confidently at all levels, including executives

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Calm, professional, and solutions-oriented in high-pressure or high-traffic situations

Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic administrative systems

Customer service-oriented with a focus on creating positive and memorable experiences

Reliable, accountable, and proactive in approach

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday

Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines during peak periods

Ability to remain on feet for up to 8 hours per day, excluding breaks

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
