Job description

FileCloud is looking for an experienced, passionate Technical Solutions Engineer (TSE) to cover the US Region. A TSE at FileCloud will be at the heart of designing and architecting IT solutions and supporting the process of selling complex IT solutions to Medium and large Enterprise customers.
As a remote role you will need to have good communication skills and an ability to collaborate efficiently with other team members.
About the Product & Company:
FileCloud is a hyper-secure EFSS (enterprise file sync and share) platform that provides industry leading compliance, data governance, data leak protection, data retention and digital rights management capabilities. FileCloud is a leader in content governance and collaboration for unstructured data, trusted and used worldwide across Global 1000 enterprises, educational institutions, government organizations, and service providers. In addition to its enterprise file sharing solution, FileCloud's product portfolio also includes Signority (acquired in May 2024), a Canadian-based e-signature and document workflow platform. We are currently expanding our team as we grow and improve FileCloud.
Key Job Duties:
  • Design and propose customized technical solutions that align with client-specific requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
  • Conduct product demonstrations for prospective and existing clients, showcasing key features and business value.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, taking responsibility for all technical aspects throughout the sales process.
  • Install, configure, and integrate new systems and software within clients' IT environments.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve implementation issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Participate in post-sales calls/activities with large customers, ensuring continuity and success in the customer's subsequent adoption, usage, and future expansion.
  • Join our Technical Account Management Program and serve as a dedicated technical point of contact for our large enterprise customers.

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Ability to understand prospects/customers business objectives and priorities by acting as a trusted advisor to help shape their use case and propose the best solution architecture.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of technical experience within multiple technology companies selling into enterprise accounts.
  • Cloud experience with one of these cloud providers: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of web protocols and security.
  • Passion for technology so they can act as evangelists for the products in discussions with potential customers and partners, to direct opinions and inspire action.
  • Minimum of 3+ years designing and architecting highly available/redundant IT solutions for enterprise accounts.
  • Experience in Linux administration and troubleshooting, preferably with distros like Ubuntu and RedHat.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze and solve problems independently and within cross-functional teams.

Desirable skills for the role:
  • Experience in Windows administration and troubleshooting, especially with Active Directory and NTFS permissions.
  • Familiarity with filesharing solutions.

Our ideal candidate for this role:
We are seeking applicants who are authorized to work in the U.S. and are already residing there.
You will have worked for multiple different vendors in a Technical Solutions Engineering/ Architect or Senior Support capacity over the course of 6+ years, selling complex IT solutions into large enterprises. You will have abundant Windows or Linux experience with a background in IT solutions design. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the entire pre-sales process, working closely with the sales team to assist prospects in defining their business use cases with the FileCloud solution.
