Job description

As the Global Brand Associate, you will oversee a dynamic group of product categories and manage critical communication with licensees for our highly anticipated designated brands! In this role, you will navigate and track crucial approvals within our Licensor's Digital Rights Platforms while collaborating cross-functionally to develop new, exciting product lines that fans will love. You will support the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring our toys perfectly capture the magic of the brand. What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product design, packaging, marketing, and licensing teams to create compelling products from concept to market that perfectly fit the brand

  • Coordinate design approvals with respective licensors and stakeholders, navigating Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems to track compliance and style guide adherence

  • Assist Product Development Managers by requesting and documenting 3D model costs, product unit costs, and tooling costs from global suppliers to ensure timely, accurate quoting

  • Organize and manage physical product samples by tracking influx, overseeing storage, photographing items, and coordinating the timely creation of presentation models for key accounts

  • Conduct competitive assessments and research market trends to identify future opportunities, gather field input, and assist in developing product expansion strategies

  • Support day-to-day brand operations by managing social media updates, tracking products at market, maintaining submission trackers, and participating in key account calls

  • Interface with internal sales, contract manufacturing, and external vendors to proactively manage inventory and ensure a smooth, efficient business process

What We Are Looking For:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in brand management, licensing, marketing, or product development

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience navigating the product development lifecycle for consumer hard or soft goods

  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to seamlessly juggle multiple shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently present ideas, engage an audience, and collaborate as a strategic team player

  • A genuine passion for learning about the toy industry, emerging play patterns, and current consumer trends

  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (G-Suite) applications

 Nice to Have:                                                                                                                

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or an industry-relevant field is a plus

  • Prior experience working within the toy, licensing, or related consumer products industries

  • Working knowledge of Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems (such as MediaBox or LAS)

  • Prior experience operating within a global organization

What We Offer

The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.  

Our benefits package includes basic medical insurance that is 100% company-paid for employees and their children, employee basic life and AD&D insurance, a 401(K) retirement program with Jazwares matching up to 4% of pretax or post-tax deferrals, short and long-term disability, and tuition reimbursement.   

Our work environment provides a flexible work schedule that includes Monday through Thursday on-site, with an optional WFH on Fridays, up to 20 workdays fully remote each year, and Time Off for vacation and sick leave.  Through Jazwares Cares, you will have the opportunity to volunteer for up to 16 hours a year on community service projects.
