Job description

The Large Format Print Operator will operate the EFI Vutek printers and/or Fuji Onset Inca S40i and perform a variety of technical and support services involving printing and production operations in our Farmingdale, NY facility.
Responsibilities:
Setup, maintain, calibrate and efficiently operate digital large format printers.
Process pre-pressed files through appropriate RIP workflow to prepare the for printing.
Assess ripped files to determine the best way to process them for efficient production.
Monitor output of the printed product to maintain quality standards. Check print output for quality (color, registration, press flaws etc.)
Have the ability to properly troubleshoot press issues.
Requirements:
Experience of large format industry operating digital printing and finishing equipment is preferred.
Detailed oriented with ability to analyze measurements and resolve print issues.
Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude under tight deadlines.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to lift/move/carry 70+ pounds.
Requires long periods of time walking and standing.
