Monday - Friday; 3:00pm - 11:30pm

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Digital Printer Operator, this role uses various systems and media on wide format printers to print orders based on schedule requirements. The Digital Printer Operator will use various computer programs to print orders, perform light maintenance on printers and dryer/shakers, ensure printer quality of all orders processed, and be able to troubleshoot all technology (computer hardware, software, printers, dryer/shakers, UV printers, etc.) to ensure high quality and timely delivery of orders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Uses various software packages to prepare and print order files; able to execute process of getting artwork from different network locations in to correct software so order can be produced.
  • Able to execute prints in different formats (ex-transfers, wall clings, banners, UV).
  • Understands production schedule and how to properly prioritize orders to ensure the orders that are due are printed in order to meet or exceed delivery date.
  • Performs light printer maintenance including refilling inks, cleaning nozzles and print heads, monitoring powder level in dryer/shakers and adding when needed, draining oil from dryer/shakers and cleaning up oil at end of shift.
  • Monitors quality of all printed items; looking for any issues with print quality. If an issue is discovered, reports and then troubleshoots the issue to attempt to resolve
  • Accurately tracks and reports productivity, reprints and errors
  • Assists in maintaining materials and supplies inventory
  • May load/unload material (rolls)
  • Cuts and sorts all transfers; matches paperwork to transfer when required

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have basic computer skills; able to learn/use RIP software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and Google sheets
  • Able to troubleshoot technical details (printer operations) and use Root cause analysis on print quality issues
  • Exhibits quick learning, be detailed, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance
  • Possess the ability to differentiate and coordinate colors and able to identify a variety of quality issues

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time (8 hours minimally), repetitive movement of the body, lifting of no less than 5-40 lbs. on a frequent basis, 41-85lbs on an occasional basis, and must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment (including seasonal exposure to heat and humidity). Must be able to push/pull 5-35lbs occasionally.
