Job description

LARGE FORMAT DIGITAL PRINTER OPERATOR – 1st Shift

At Ace Designs, we love what we do! For over 35 years, we have been in the retail display business where we have established an outstanding reputation for quality and service. Our clients range from large retail chains to smaller boutiques, which allows us accommodate projects big and small. We pride ourselves on being leaders in ingenuity and problem solving as well as delivering on time and on budget. Our products are all custom and manufactured in our building, so we get to see our concepts come to life on a daily basis.


We are expanding our Print Department, looking for a Large Format Digital Printer for our 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 8:15am- 5pm and ability to work overtime and on weekends.
This position covers a variety of large format printing tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Large Format Printing (Flatbed & Roll) (REQUIRES LIFTING 50LBS+)
  • Cutting / Weeding Vinyl
  • Mounting various graphics
  • Maintaining printers
  • Assembly
  • Installation

Candidates must be Self Starters and have the ability to:

  • Pre-press Experience a plus, but not necessary
  • Large Format Printer Experience preferred
  • Accurately measure and calculate image sizes
  • Detail Oriented (math skill/organization)
  • Set up printers with different papers and substrates as needed for specific jobs
  • Multi-task and understand deadlines
  • Work hands-on in a very fast paced environment
  • Efficiency in time management and prioritizing tasks
  • Effectively understand materials and processes
  • Multi-task and understand deadlines, react to change productively
  • Recognize quality with the ability to trouble-shoot
  • Work hands-on in a very fast paced environment
  • Work flexible hours including overtime
