The Exercise Coach, a hi-tech fitness and health studio, is adding 2-3 Fitness coaches to its Fremont location. We are looking for coaches who can work part time or full time.
Our studio offers a casual, fun environment using top-of-the-line proprietary training equipment. Each coach works with just one person at a time, or a small group of 2-4 people, guiding and motivating them as well as keeping sharp eyes for form, challenge and safety. The equipment keeps track of their progress over time so that you can work with them to achieve the results they're looking for.
Our novel, evidence-based technology and methods deliver more in 20 minutes than a traditional strength session does in 60 minutes.
This is a brand-new concept in Fremont, and we need 2-3 Full Time coaches to help us grow this amazing personal training revolution! Ideal candidates will be interested in growing with us, like the pace of a young company and small team, love the process of winning new clients and have a "win everyday" personal approach to life!

Coach Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform fitness evaluations
  • Educate/coach clients
  • Demonstrate proper exercise instructions
  • Provide ongoing health and fitness Education
  • Track client progress
  • Lead follow up
  • Facilitate consultations
  • Communicate with clients
  • Scheduling existing and prospective clients
**All employees will receive full training in The Exercise Coach methods and technologies. **
Schedule:
  • Determined by client demand
  • Hours of operation: M-F 6a-8p; Sat 7a-1p
  • Applicant should be flexible to do all kinds of shifts (see below)
  • Morning (530a-130p), evening (1230p-830p), peak (8a-11a, 5p-7p) shifts, and some Saturdays
Qualifications:
  • People Skills and Personality: You must LOVE working with people! This is an exciting studio and you must be able to show energy and excitement while working with your clients.
  • Good Communication Skills: You must be comfortable conversing in-person and on the phone, know how to conduct yourself professionally, and deliver clear instructions to the clients.
  • Passion for Health & Fitness: This is where it all begins! Walking the walk and living what you preach. Always finishing with a flurry making sure each client feels great right before they leave the studio.
  • Respectful and Trustworthy: Highest levels of respect for the client, where even the little things are given importance staying on time, interacting appropriately, not being argumentative or arrogant and always listening.
Education:
  • High School Graduate (Required)
  • AED/CPR Certification (Required before certification in our studio)
Experience:
  • Customer Service experience
  • Coaching or Training (Plus)
