About the Opportunity

If you have boundless enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for improving lives, we have a uniquely fulfilling career opportunity for you.

The Exercise Coach® is a state-of-the-art, high-tech fitness and health studio, and we are expanding our team. We are currently looking for 2–3 full-time or part-time Specialists to join our Fremont location.

Our studio completely rejects traditional, old-school gym methods. Instead, we use proprietary, data-driven bio-feedback technology to deliver more results in two 20-minute sessions per week than a traditional gym does in hours. Because our concept is entirely novel, we do not require a traditional fitness background. We actually prefer a "blank slate"—someone who is highly coachable, eager to learn our systems, and completely free of traditional weight-room baggage.

Our local clientele consists primarily of mature, affluent, and unconditioned adults who are looking for a safe, private environment. They do not want intense, high-impact trainers; they want empathetic mentors who listen deeply, communicate clearly, and make them feel safe.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

Coach & Educate: Guide clients 1-on-1 or in small groups (2–4 people) through our proprietary tech-driven protocols, keeping a sharp eye on safety, proper form, and appropriate resistance levels.

Drive Growth & Outreach: Actively manage and follow up with marketing leads via phone calls, structured emails, and text messages to schedule new studio consultations.

Facilitate Consultations: Perform initial fitness evaluations, deliver clear educational presentations about our unique technology, and seamlessly transition prospective clients into active members.

Manage Logistics: Track client progress utilizing our automated software platforms and handle daily scheduling for existing and prospective members.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

An Exceptional Communicator: You genuinely love people. You are high-energy, an active listener, and highly comfortable conversing both in person and over the phone or text.

Teachable & Adaptable: You are excited to learn a brand-new concept from scratch. We provide complete, best-in-class paid training and certification in our proprietary methods.

Growth-Minded: You enjoy the fast-paced, nimble environment of a growing local team and love the daily process of winning over new clients.

Respectful & Trustworthy: You understand that small details matter to a premium clientele—including punctuality, immaculate studio hygiene, a professional presentation, and zero arrogance.

Educational Requirements: High School Graduate (Required) and a valid AED/CPR Certification (Required prior to finishing studio certification).

What We Offer (Compensation & Benefits)

Our coaches are paid reliably for the hours they work and are not dependent on unpredictable sales commissions. We offer a transparent, tiered compensation plan designed to reward your growth:

Training Rate: $18.00/hour while completing your initial onboarding and proprietary certification.

Certified Rate: $20.00/hour effective immediately upon completing certification and demonstrating the ability to run sessions independently.

Growth Potential: A clear pathway to progress toward an aspirational goal of $25.00/hour as the studio expands and achieves profitability targets.

We take pride in offering some of the best benefits in the fitness industry:

Comprehensive paid training and proprietary certification

Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays

Performance-based bonus potential

401(k) plan participation with potential for company match

Employee Assistance Program & dedicated wellness programs

Exclusive national brand corporate discounts

Free studio gym membership

A clean, modern, and genuinely fun team environment
