As a Consulting Manager/Sr. Manager, you will utilize your deep sourcing and supplier management experience to help our customers drive tangible results. The position would act as part of GEP’s Global Delivery Consulting Group and will be responsible for category management services including, but not limited to, Category Strategy development, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and continuous cost and performance improvement to our clients.

What you will do:

  • Lead client engagements and contributing to the development and execution of the global strategy for strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier relationship management and procurement transformation
  • Creatively utilize data sources to develop fact-based recommendations and complex analyses
  • Develop sound recommendations to contribute to program objectives (cost savings, SLAs, Transformation, etc.)
  • Deliver presentations and communicate confidently with the client; coach team members
  • Identify new business opportunities and support the Program Manager in efforts to expand the scope of current project by leveraging existing relationships with C-level executives and contributing to business development efforts

How you partner with us:

  • Minimum five years of experience in a consulting firm OR a combination of consultancy and industry experience with strategic sourcing, spend analysis and Source to pay/Procure to pay processes
  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA from an accredited college/university a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and outstanding client management skills
  • Strong experience in supplier development, category management and RFx development and execution; exposure to relevant technology platforms like: SAP/Ariba, Coupa, Zycus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX etc., a PLUS
