Job description

ABOUT THE POSITION The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Engineering Infrastructure Development Services Manager position. This position will be primarily responsible for: Supervising technical and administrative staff. Working with Development community including Developers, Consultant Engineers, and Other Agencies.

Maintaining and updating CCWRD Service Rules pertaining to Development. Maintaining and Updating UDACS (Uniform Design and Construction Standards). Developing, monitoring, and managing the annual Service Group Operating Budget.

This recruitment will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources. Human Resources reserves the right to call only the most qualified applicants to the selection process. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Qualifying education and experience must be clearly documented in the "Education" and "Work Experience" sections of the application. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or other related engineering field. Six (6) Years of experience in an engineering field related to design/construction project management. Two (2) years of full-time supervisory or management level experience.

Equivalent combination of formal education and appropriate related experience may be considered. Licenses/Certifications Possess a valid Nevada Class [C] driver's license at time of application. Current certificate of registration as a Professional Engineer issued by the State of Nevada.

Reciprocity: Employees with out-of-state certifications for any of the above may seek Nevada certification through reciprocity application. Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Pre-Employment Drug Testing: Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination.
