About the Position

Bay Point Contracting is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and dependable Business Development Coordinator to help organize and execute our lead-generation, client communication, marketing, and brand-development activities.

This is not a senior marketing strategy or creative director position. We are looking for an organized, dependable, and operations-minded coordinator who can turn plans into consistent action.

The successful candidate will become a trusted partner to company leadership, coordinating lead flow, marketing initiatives, client communication, content creation, trade shows, and relationships with outside vendors. This individual should be comfortable working behind the scenes, keeping multiple priorities organized, and ensuring that important details do not fall through the cracks.

This position is designed for someone who wants more than a job. As Bay Point Contracting grows, we expect this role to grow alongside it, creating opportunities to take on increasing responsibility in business development, marketing, operations, executive support, or client experience.

Duties:

Business Development & Client Experience

  • Coordinate incoming leads and help ensure prospective clients receive timely, professional follow-up.
  • Assist with customer service, sales coordination, and initial client communication.
  • Maintain accurate lead, client, and campaign information within the company's CRM and internal systems.
  • Support leadership with business development activities and relationship-building initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication, lead management, marketing execution, and the overall client experience.


Marketing & Brand Coordination

  • Coordinate marketing calendars, campaigns, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Organize content for social media, website updates, advertising, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.
  • Review and coordinate marketing content to ensure it is accurate, professional, consistent, and aligned with the company's standards.
  • Assist with the development of brochures, presentation materials, project books, sales materials, and other marketing pieces.
  • Work closely with outside marketing professionals, website developers, virtual assistants, photographers, videographers, designers, and other vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Help oversee content editing, campaign execution, and posting schedules.


Content Creation & Media

  • Gather photos, videos, testimonials, and project updates from jobsites and team members.
  • Assist with photography, video production, and drone content capture showcasing renovation projects, completed homes, company events, and educational content.
  • Help coordinate and record on-camera content featuring company leadership and completed projects.
  • Organize and maintain the company's growing library of marketing photos, videos, and digital assets.


Events & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate trade shows, networking events, booth materials, schedules, registrations, and follow-up activities.
  • Attend select trade shows, community events, project sites, and company activities as required to support marketing and business development initiatives.


Administration & Process Improvement

  • Track outstanding tasks, deadlines, approvals, and follow-up items.
  • Help document business processes and develop systems that improve consistency, visibility, accountability, and efficiency.
  • Provide administrative and organizational support to company leadership as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating priorities across internal staff and external partners to ensure projects move forward smoothly.


Requirements:

  • Two to five years experience coordinating people, projects, marketing activities, administration, or client communication 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and ongoing projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems, lead-management platforms, or similar business software
  • Comfortable coordinating social media content, photos, videos, digital campaigns, and marketing materials
  • Ability to work independently, follow through on commitments, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, professional work
  • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with clients, vendors, coworkers, and company leadership
  • Sound judgment, emotional steadiness, and the ability to remain composed when priorities change
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and common business technology
  • Willingness to learn the renovation industry, Bay Point Contracting's services, and the company's internal systems
  • Experience within construction, renovation, custom home building, real estate, kitchen and bath, hospitality, design-build, or another high-touch service business is an asset
  • Experience coordinating trade shows, events, advertising campaigns, or outside marketing vendors is an asset

Compensation:
