Green Dispensary
Job Title: Assistant Dispensary Manager
Location: Green Dispensary
Job Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Pay Range: $45,000 annually (depending on experience) + Commission
Direct Supervisor: General Manager
Position Overview
The Assistant Dispensary Manager supports the Dispensary Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily dispensary operations, including team leadership, customer experience, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. This role serves as a manager-in-training and is responsible for leading store operations in the absence of the Dispensary Manager. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with strong retail management experience, a passion for cannabis, and a proven ability to drive sales performance and meet revenue goals.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
Operations & Store Management
  • Support the Dispensary Manager in daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and employee availability
  • Monitor store performance, including weekly and monthly sales metrics
  • Ensure proper use of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and operational tools
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready retail environment

Team Leadership & Development
  • Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
  • Conduct and support employee training and ongoing development
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented, and customer-focused work environment
  • Communicate company updates, policies, and expectations to staff

Sales & Customer Experience:
  • Drive sales performance by motivating the team to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
  • Actively track and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Coach team members on upselling, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and a welcoming, educational experience for all customers

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
  • Ensure strict compliance with all Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) regulations
  • Maintain adherence to all company policies, procedures, and state/local laws
  • Assist in monitoring and enforcing compliance protocols within the store
  • Maintain accurate records and support inventory tracking systems (e.g., METRC, if applicable)

Inventory Management:
  • Assist with inventory control, audits, and reconciliation
  • Participate in regular and random inventory counts
  • Ensure proper handling and tracking of cannabis products and supplies
  • Support inventory system accuracy and reporting

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Supervise dispensary operations in the absence of the Dispensary Manager
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Consistently contribute to achieving store revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of retail or customer service management experience (cannabis industry experience preferred)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a retail environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and Windows-based applications
  • Knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends preferred
  • Familiarity with Nevada cannabis laws and regulations preferred
  • Reliable performance in both Shift Lead and Budtending duties.
  • Ensure that all staff members are consistently up to date on Dutchie SOPs and training. Regularly review procedures with the team, provide necessary refreshers, and address any knowledge gaps to maintain compliance and efficiency in daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Nevada Marijuana Establishment Agent Card
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (I-9 verification required)
  • Must take Osha training and keep it renewed as needed
