Job description

Scope
Desktop Engineering Support SD Engineer (L2) is responsible for effectively using advanced skills to troubleshoot advanced hardware and software problems. Tasks include but are not limited to hardware troubleshooting and upgrades, AV troubleshooting and support, offering a 'White Glove'/VIP service and support relating to sales, installation and configuring of applications and other software on the company issued desktop/laptop and mobile devices. In addition, the engineer is responsible for interfacing with Supplier L3 support engineering or Customer professional services to provide timely resolution;
The Candidate
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
2. 5+ years of experience in audio-visual implementations and/or videoconference network engineering with Cisco Telepresence infrastructure.
3. Experience with Cisco endpoints and infrastructure (Control Hub)
4. UC infrastructure (Ring Central)
5. Experience with Webex administration and other web/audio collaboration platforms and services, specifically Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
6. Strong infrastructure implementation and project deployment experience
7. Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
8. Proven ability to drive successful results across multiple functional areas
9. Excellent interpersonal skills as well as proven written and oral communication skills, and the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
10. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to help influence and work with others collaboratively and constructively Highly self-motivated and directed.
11. Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment globally
12. Well versed in Desktop technologies (Windows 10, Macintosh and Office 365) Collaboration technologies (WebEx, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive), Server Technologies and Network Technologies.
