Description
HC Brands is seeking an IT Helpdesk Assistant - Entry-Level. This person is responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining software and patch deployment methods. They are also responsible for PC issue diagnostics, research, and correction. The Helpdesk Assistant provides day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems software and hardware.
The Technology team is responsible for working directly with the CEO and other key stakeholders to help develop new technologies that will increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction. They also ensure that systems are up to date and running properly at all facilities. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to learn from others with experience in development and marketing. The Tech Team's goal is to build an outstanding digital presence for HC Brands.
The ideal candidate will have experience with desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues. They will be able to document client incidents in our ticketing system to ensure a timely resolution, and they'll prioritize and escalate support incidents based on business impact.
THIS POSITION IS 100% ON-SITE IN JACKSONVILLE, FL.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, execute, and maintain software and patch deployment methods.
• Provide PC issue diagnostics, research, and correction.
• Provides day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems software and hardware.
• Installs, configures, and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues.
• Documents, tracks, and monitors client incidents in ticketing system to ensure a timely resolution.
• Prioritizes and escalates support incidents and requests based on business impact and documented guidelines.
• Maintains passwords, data integrity, file system security for the desktop environment.
• Recommends solutions including new acquisitions and upgrades.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• 1+ years of working knowledge on PC configurations and peripherals
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365, and Google Apps;
• Be able to demonstrate proficiency with Active Directory tasks such as creating/deleting/modifying accounts and adding/removing user accounts.
• Verifiable experience in Domain Name System (DNS) and Active Directory Domain Structure.
• Ability to demonstrate experience managing BYODs such as iOS and Android.
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows Servers (OS and Hardware).
• Skill in troubleshooting and using diagnostic tools for client accessibility problems to applications and network (e.g., resetting password, bouncing PU, resetting remote devices).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Service Management or other incident tracking systems.
• Participating in the development of information technology and infrastructure projects.
• Setting up and maintaining email systems.
• Cabling, wiring, and labeling networks and other duties as assigned.
