Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Interior Design Coordinator to join our innovative interior design team. In this role, you will provide hands on administrative, technical and creative support so Interior Designers can stay focused on clients, selections and design decisions. Your expertise in design software, project management, and construction documentation will drive successful project outcomes while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional eager to shape inspiring living spaces and advance their career in interior design.

Duties

  • Enter and update project information, selections, notes and approvals in Revit, Buildertrend and shared drive.
  • Prepare project filed, templates, sample boards, production preview materials and organized meeting documentation for multiple residential interior design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Make basic corrections on detailed drawings, construction documents, and presentation materials using Revit and Buildertrend.
  • Order, pickup, return and maintain samples. Keep slab selections, holds and approvals current with vendors.
  • Follow up on missing items lists with appropriate links, photos, and selection options for clients.
  • Create photo books for completed projects. Assist with photoshoot preparation, styling, coordination. Help create Instagram posts, reels and content to showcase projects and support the brand.
  • Generate reusable templates, checklists, and client facing tools that improve consistency and save designer's time.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and contracts to ensure smooth project flow from inception through completion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and managing expectations professionally.
  • Jump into priority tasks as needed to keep deadlines, client communication and production moving.

Qualifications

  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and other graphic design tools. Buildertrend a plus.
  • Detail oriented and resourceful
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem solver.
  • Thrives in a fast paced design environment.
  • Familiarity with managing contracts, budgeting processes, and coordinating between various stakeholders involved in interior projects.
