Duties * You will provide overall direction, management, and coordination of test events performed on test ranges. * You will provide critical direction, coordination, and oversight for NTWP and its associated test squadrons. * You will work in close collaboration with the leadership team, the incumbent contributes significantly to policy, strategic planning, and resource management across the command. * You will provide technical oversight on the judicious use of proficiency funding to support pilot and aircrew readiness. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. * Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Knowledge and application of Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) policy and processes; 2) Knowledge of Department of Defense aviation policies and processes; 3) Leadership skills including strong decision making, critical-thinking, and communication skills 4) Flight Test Experience (Developmental or Operational; 5) Current tactical jet NATOPS qualifications or Air Force equivalent.
