About the Role

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Stationery & Invitation Specialist to join our retail team full time. This role focuses on high-end wedding invitations, party and event stationery, and personalized paper goods, while also supporting everyday stationery sales on the sales floor.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one consultations for custom and semi-custom wedding invitations, save-the-dates, party invites, and event stationery.
  • Guide clients through paper selection, printing methods, colors, and embellishments to create cohesive, elevated suites.
  • Advise on invitation wording, addressing etiquette, timelines, and quantities for weddings and special events.
  • Recommend coordinating items (menus, place cards, programs, thank-you notes, etc.) to complete the event paper story.
  • Work with a range of premium stationery vendors; coordinate quotes, proofs, and order details.
  • Review proofs carefully and manage approvals to ensure accuracy before production.
  • Maintain sample books, vendor catalogs, and display areas so they are organized, current, and visually appealing.
  • Support the sales floor by assisting customers with cards, journals, gifts, and party goods while meeting sales goals.
  • Track orders, timelines, and follow-ups, keeping clients informed of status, changes, or delays.

Required

  • Previous retail or customer-facing experience.
  • Strong communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor with clients planning weddings or special events.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfort with basic computer systems and point-of-sale tools.

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with stationery, wedding invitations, party goods, or paper boutiques.
  • Familiarity with high-end stationery vendors and custom order processes.
  • Basic design skills and experience reviewing proofs; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of wedding etiquette and luxury customer service standards.
Schedule & Location
