The Senior Demand Analyst is responsible for Demand Shaping by adding Market Intelligence and accounting for Product Lifecycle Management through collaboration with other Supply Chain functions, as well as with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Commercial Operations and others.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Planning

  • Review statistical forecast and provide input on any changes needed
  • Manage New Product Introduction and/or base business set deployment forecasts as assigned
  • Collect information and collaborate with other functions such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, Commercial Operations, etc. to identify events requiring forecast
  • Facilitate local demand reviews with commercial partners and other collaborators
  • Generate scenarios considering products, past event data, customer/market analysis, cannibalization, substitution, and other relevant parameters
  • Utilize market models, life cycle profiles, usage assumptions, & other inputs to form the most accurate forecast

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

  • Reconcile Demand Plan with Financial Plan and highlight gaps/drivers to partners
  • Provide demand input to S&OP/IBP process to allow for transparency of risks and opportunities.
  • Support the monthly S&OP/IBP process via reviews with appropriate team members and building of content for Management/Leadership-level reviews.
  • Enable PLAN to deliver/improve service and inventory targets by delivering/improving forecast measures for assigned portfolio of products
Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's and/or equivalent University Degree required; focused degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field or equivalent preferred

Required:

  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional work experience
  • Experience in supply chain
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office (esp. Excel and Power Point) as well as data tools (ex. Alteryx)
  • Sound understanding of supply chain principles
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Understands forecasting techniques
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships across multiple teams, considering diverse perspectives
  • Ability to communicate clearly, making complex information understandable to various audiences
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others in a highly matrixed environment
  • Know and follow all laws and policies as they apply to the job function, maintaining the highest level of integrity, ethics and compliance at all times

Preferred:

  • Supply Chain Certification preferred (APICS, IBF, etc.)
  • Good understanding of ERP systems (SAP/APO/SNP) and Advanced Planning Systems (APO)
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to share knowledge and personal experience with peers. Coach others when appropriate.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would improve speed of results and efficiency.

  • May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other sites and locations
