Location: Newton, NC - Newton
Tekberry is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Supply Chain Business Analyst to work on-site with our client, a leading global manufacturing company. As a W2 employee, you will have access to health benefits.
Job Summary
This position supports the planning, organization, and control of Supply Chain operations-including Planning/Scheduling, Procurement, Packaging/Warehousing, and Materials Control-to optimize the use of equipment, materials, and manpower while ensuring premium customer service.
The role includes a range of project work and participation in cross-functional teams within the plant and across the company to enhance performance in manufacturing efficiency, supply chain operations, and customer service.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Use strong system skills, analytical abilities, and business knowledge to evaluate the effectiveness of manufacturing and supply chain operations, then communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Determine the scope of improvement projects; initiate and lead improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Develop and analyze reports to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support new system implementation projects and other initiatives within the Supply Chain department.
  • Assist with packaging and warehouse operations, including process improvements in shipping and receiving, warehouse storage optimization, and packaging efficiency.
  • Create, modify, and support business reports and queries for Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functional teams.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Analyze internal and external processes (benchmarking) to maximize efficiency and system performance.

Qualifications
Required Education
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)

  • Understanding of cable products, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; SAP experience preferred
