Senior Delivery SpecialistIntroduction:

The Senior Delivery Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day data center activities, maintaining server environments, and coordinating maintenance activities with the customer. This position requires strong technical skills in BIOS management, Break/Fix procedures, and experience with Dell PowerEdge servers.

Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day data center activities
  • Proactively monitor the data center for any issues and alert customers as needed
  • Escort dispatched field engineers when applicable
  • Manage LOIS parts inventory and documentation
  • Maintain documentation of the server environment including serial numbers, elevations, and runbooks
  • Coordinate with the customer for maintenance activities such as power and cooling maintenance
  • Perform BIOS lifecycle management including adding users and patching
  • Triage with Dell support for scheduling field service engineer (FSE) break/fix activities
  • Update server versions as directed by the customer team
  • Be onsite 5 days a week with no exceptions
Required Skills:
  • Experience with PowerEdge Rack/Tower servers
  • Proficiency in RHEL and Ubuntu operating systems
  • Experience working in a larger server environment
  • Ability to perform BIOS lifecycle management tasks
  • Knowledge of Break/Fix procedures
