The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day execution of client programs, working in partnership with the Client Services teams and our COE (Center of Excellence) to execute social-first marketing strategies built to deliver on client goals. Account Managers are stewards of the VN process and proactively manage the campaign execution. They display exceptional time management and organizational skills and thrive on adaptability, assignments, and tight deadlines. The Account Manager is responsible for successful project delivery and oversees Account Coordinator(s) and Account Executive(s) from project initiation to successful campaign execution and delivery.

Note: This is a 3-month contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of influencer and social media marketing and keeps up to date with current trends;
  • Develop a clear understanding of clients goals and objectives and can translate that into actionable tasks and manage the outcome;
  • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in influencer management, content direction, content scheduling, ongoing tracking and reporting on results;
  • Execute and oversee strategies including - influencer marketing, content/social strategy, community management etc.;
  • Develop content overview documents for influencers outlining program details and content expectations with oversight from the senior leadership team;
  • Exhibit effective project management working closely with team to prepare status reports for client;
  • Be a master of process and care about the minutiae of how work is done to ensure efficiencies and practicalities;
  • Effectively work within account budget parameters and assist with budget management;
  • Participate in presentation process including research, audits and proposal development;
  • Contribute towards team development and growth to meet the demands and expectations of clients;
  • Oversee your team's influencer marketing campaigns through VN's proprietary platform.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in advertising services, influencer marketing, social media etc.
  • Experience working as a part of an IAT (inter-agency team).
  • Experience in developing and executing successful client programs.
  • Experience working on campaigns with total revenue exceeding $1M.
  • Direct experience with social media tools and platforms
  • Passion and understanding for influencer marketing
  • Experience with effectively delegating and/or executing many tactical assignments and accurately elevating and reviewing the work of junior staff.
  • Proactive and unafraid to manage up.
This role has a compensation range of $30 to $34 per hour.

Where an offer falls within this range is determined through the interview process. Candidates are benchmarked by the hiring team based on role scope, relevant experience, skill alignment, and expected impact, using consistent and objective criteria.
