This position plays a critical role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of the school's network, systems, and data environments. The IT Systems Administrator ensures the integrity of the operating system environment and all core computer systems by performing essential system maintenance tasks such as system backups, recovery procedures, and file maintenance to promote uptime and efficient performance.

The role includes acquiring, installing, and testing system software upgrades and computer components, configuring systems, resolving technical issues, and maintaining clear documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures. In addition, this position manages institutional data systems and reporting, collaborates and cross-trains with other members of the technology team, and works closely with administrators to ensure accurate and efficient data reporting.
