Essential Functions  

System Administration & Support 

  • Serve as the technical expert for the Dayforce HCM platform (WFM, Payroll, HR, Benefits, etc.). 

  • Manage user access, security roles, and permissions in accordance with internal governance policies and compliance requirements. 

Integrations & Data Management 

  • Design, implement, monitor, and maintain complex integrations between Dayforce and internal/external systems. 

  • Manage data exchange via various methods, including file feeds (SFTP, secure channels) and APIs (REST/SOAP). 

  • Ensure the integrity, security, and timeliness of all inbound and outbound data feeds. 

  • Develop and execute data cleanup strategies and recurring data audits to maintain accuracy. 

Governance & Architecture 

  • Establish and enforce system governance standards to preserve the architectural integrity, maintain data quality, and ensure the best practice use of the Dayforce platform. 

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configuration, integration maps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 

  • Manage the configuration lifecycle, including development, testing, staging, and production environments, ensuring rigorous change control processes are followed. 

Product Strategy & Consultation 

  • Proactively review Dayforce product release notes, updates, and new features to understand their impact and potential benefit to the organization. 

  • Consult with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT leadership to advise on if/when new tooling or modules should be rolled out. 

  • Serve as the technical lead during system implementations, upgrades, and module rollouts, coordinating between internal staff and external consulting partners. 

  • Develop and deliver training sessions and materials to internal staff on new system functionality or processes. 

Minimum Qualifications   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing Dayforce integrations utilizing file feeds and API technologies. 

  • 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator or technical consultant supporting the Dayforce HCM platform. 

  • Solid experience with system governance, change management, and security best practices within an enterprise application environment. 

  • Experience with other enterprise systems (ERP, Finance) and their integration points with HCM. 

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
