Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM CST

Job Description:

Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify an experienced Benefits Administrator to support a high-volume benefits team during the annual open enrollment season. This fully remote contract opportunity is ideal for someone with strong HRIS experience, advanced Excel skills, and a customer-focused approach to benefits administration.

In this role, you will assist employees with benefit-related questions, maintain accurate enrollment data, troubleshoot system issues, reconcile benefit information, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth open enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefit enrollments and maintain accurate records within Dayforce and other HRIS platforms.
  • Support annual open enrollment by reviewing benefit configurations, testing enrollment workflows, and validating system functionality.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and voluntary benefit plans.
  • Assist employees with eligibility questions, qualifying life events, dependent verification, and enrollment changes.
  • Research and resolve benefit-related issues while coordinating with payroll, HR, insurance carriers, and external vendors.
  • Audit enrollment data, payroll deductions, carrier files, and eligibility reports to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Process benefit-related transactions, including evidence of insurability requests, leave-related benefit updates, benefit arrears, and dependent age-out tracking.
  • Create and maintain reports using Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs, to support audits and reconciliation efforts.
  • Prepare employee communications, benefit guides, and documentation while maintaining detailed tracking logs.
  • Participate in project meetings and assist with post-enrollment audits, reconciliations, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience administering employee benefits in a high-volume environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Dayforce is required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits, eligibility requirements, enrollment rules, dependent verification, and leave-related benefit administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding customer service, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable handling confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
