Technical Program Manager – Dayforce (HCM) Role Overview The Technical Program Manager – Dayforce is responsible for leading the delivery of Dayforce HCM programs, serving as the primary liaison between HR, Payroll, IT, and external partners. This role owns program execution across implementations, enhancements, integrations, and ongoing optimization to ensure scalable, compliant, and efficient HR systems. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end Dayforce programs including implementations, upgrades, and enhancements Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and Operations to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions Own program planning, timelines, dependencies, risks, and delivery across multiple workstreams Manage Dayforce modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Talent (as applicable) Oversee integrations between Dayforce and internal and third-party systems Coordinate with external vendors and implementation partners to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery Drive testing strategy including UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and resolution Ensure compliance with payroll, labor, and workforce regulations, particularly in multi-location environments Provide clear status updates, risk assessments, and communication to stakeholders and leadership Support post-launch stabilization, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Systems Program Management, or related roles Hands-on experience leading Dayforce HCM implementations or major enhancements Strong understanding of HRIS, Payroll, and Workforce Management systems Experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs end-to-end Ability to translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting hourly, multi-location, or retail workforces Dayforce certification or formal implementation experience Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies Experience with data migrations, system integrations, and reporting Nice to Have Experience with global or multi-state payroll Exposure to HR transformation or large-scale systems modernization initiatives Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
