Direct Support Professional, Day Program - located in Franklin, TN or Fairview, TN

Are you passionate about helping others? Would you like to make a difference in the life of someone with an intellectual or developmental disability? If you answered yes, we encourage you to apply for a Full-Time position in one of our Day Programs!
This is a full-time, hourly opportunity. The days and hours are Monday - Friday and will vary between 6 AM - 3 PM. The position starts at an hourly rate of $16/hour.

Our Day Program is all about helping our members:

Create and complete fun, engaging activities together, either in-house or community-based, that encourage their independence and skill-building.

Participate in fun activities like:

  • Joining a local cooking class in order to help teach independent living skills.
  • Teaching money management skills by community-based budgeting & spending opportunities.
  • Exploring the member's interests and strengths, such as photography, fitness, or the arts and theatre.
  • Volunteering locally to promote community involvement.
  • Activity-based group outings like bowling, going to the park, or a local community event.
  • Educate members on how to advocate for themselves while providing the support they need to make decisions.

The person in this position will report to, and work closely with the Program Manager. They will become familiar with each waivers regulations, communicate regularly with the Team Lead and Coordinators, gain knowledge of each Person-Centered Support Plan (PCSP) or Individual Support Plan (ISP), and will be responsible for completing detailed documentation.
