Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator to support the client's enterprise IT organization through the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 and Oracle Database 19c environments. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, resiliency, and performance of mission-critical database and application systems across Production, Development, Test, and Disaster Recovery environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep Oracle EBS administration expertise, strong Linux/Unix experience, and a proactive mindset around troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, clone, and maintain Oracle EBS R12.2 multi-node environments across Production, Test, Development, and DR systems
  • Perform Oracle EBS patching activities including AD, TXK, PSU, and CPU patching
  • Administer and support Oracle Database 19c environments
  • Migrate and manage EBS databases and application stacks within Microsoft Azure cloud environments
  • Perform database upgrades, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery administration using RMAN and CommVault
  • Monitor and tune database performance utilizing AWR, ASH, and SQL tuning methodologies
  • Troubleshoot Oracle Workflow, OAF, Forms, ADI, and WebLogic-related issues
  • Manage concurrent manager jobs and resolve application performance bottlenecks
  • Configure and maintain Oracle Data Guard environments and support DR testing exercises
  • Develop shell or Perl scripts for automation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Support software deployments and collaborate with development and support teams throughout the SDLC lifecycle
  • Monitor service desk tickets and ensure SLA compliance for production systems
  • Manage tablespaces, database security, users, and roles
  • Lead technical initiatives and provide mentorship/support to team members
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging Oracle database technologies and best practices
Minimum Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent professional experience
  • 8–10 years of Oracle Database Administration and Oracle EBS Administration experience in Unix/Linux environments
  • Strong expertise with Oracle EBS R12.2 multi-node architecture
  • Hands-on experience administering Oracle Database 19c
  • Experience performing EBS upgrades, migrations, patching, backup, and recovery activities
  • Strong Linux/Unix systems administration background
  • Experience with Oracle Data Guard setup, failover, and administration
  • Experience with RMAN, CommVault, and backup/recovery technologies
  • Experience monitoring and tuning Oracle databases using OEM, AWR, ASH, and SQL tuning tools
  • Strong scripting skills using Shell and/or Perl
  • Experience supporting Production environments and participating in after-hours maintenance activities
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work independently, and thrive in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Oracle Exadata and ASM experience
  • Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) experience
  • Oracle APEX integration experience within EBS
  • Experience using storage snapshot technologies for cloning
