Team Overview
With the adoption of Omni as Omnicom's marketing insights and data platform, the holding company is centralizing its capabilities and provisioning data throughout the organization, resulting in better, faster, and more intelligent decisions for our clients. Omnicom Media Group created the Data Operations function to lead the charge, which includes developing new data pipelines, reporting solutions, and implementing performance reporting into Omni.
Position Overview
This role will ensure that our agency and client teams have access to timely, accurate, reliable data they can use to quickly make critical business decisions. Increasingly, the role needs to ensure these business decisions, analyses and optimizations are powered by AI either through ensuring accurate data, detecting & democrotizing insights, or automatically making optimizations in real time. In order to achieve these goals, the role needs to excel in the following Marketing Intelligence competencies:

Key Responsibilities
Leverages mastery of tools, systems, workflows, and teams to guide and evolve the team - streamlining and designing our most complex processes, suggesting organizational design and responsibilities, and leading implementation or selection of new partners or vendors
Support the design and execution of our most complex projects
Lead the design and implementation of taxonomy and naming conventions
Enforce governance and high data quality standards
Sees business impact beyond team and function, connecting prioritization and work delivery to broader Annalect, Omnicom Group, and client goals
Expert-level knowledge across the firm, with the ability to connect dots and grow the overall bench knowledge/strength of the team
Support the client and agency in data quality and use of data for better decision-making
Campaign Reporting Capability Development
Drive rapid development of innovative campaign reporting solutions
Support the business lead for campaign reporting, providing requirements to the product organization that address campaign reporting needs across Omnicom networks and agencies
Ensure the capability delivers on-demand access to agency teams and clients in a manner that facilitates intuitive understanding and sound decision-making, be it through dashboards, reports, data services, or analytic environments
Support the engagement model across OMG functions and teams, including defining a process for the roll-out
Campaign Reporting Capability Delivery
Support defining and managing technology-driven processes that enable efficient access to usable data for analysis and presentation to empower agency teams to make informed decisions about their client's business in support of both U.S. and global accounts
Support the development of business cases and transition campaign reporting delivery to the organization.
Operate as an extension of offshore Annalect teams to support the successful delivery of campaign data solutions
Provide expertise across data sources to drive the development of governance solutions (processes, technologies, etc.) to ensure achieving service level performance across accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and access rights
Required Skills And Qualifications
BS/BA or MS in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
8+ years' experience in marketing science, advertising analytics, data operations, business intelligence, or campaign insights, ideally in a media or agency environment
6+ years in marketing agency or directly working with marketing data - ideally focusing on paid media
Proficiency with advertising technology platforms and data quality/transformation tools is required. Experience with DBT or Great Expectations preferred.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and project management tools is required. Experience with Starburst, Smartsheet, and/or JIRA preferred.
Expert in business intelligence technologies; direct use of PowerBI or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (f/k/a Datorama) is required. Experience with Tableau or Looker,
Experience with programming/query languages for business intelligence purposes, including fluency in SQL, is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or DAX is preferential.
Ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams without formal authority; extensive involvement on projects including offshore, technology, operations, vendor, or agency teams required
Ability to oversee all stages of the Customer Lifecycle (Awareness, Conversion, Purchase, Activation, Renewal, and Referral) and distill technical information for non-technical audiences preferred; demonstrated success working with global, analytics, and client teams required
Previous roles supporting solutions engineers, technical account managers, project managers, product managers, or business intelligence developers preferred
Excellent communications skills; experience communicating across functional groups and leadership teams with varying degrees of technical background preferred New York: $70,000.00-$125,000.00
