Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Associate to join our operations team in New York City.
This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless processing of vehicle documentation, including titling, registration, insurance, and financing. You will also be instrumental in streamlining our internal workflows to enhance our operational efficiency and supporting efforts to obtain additional company licensure.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of vehicle documentation, including titling, registration, insurance, and financing.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to navigate and interpret compliance requirements and translate them into the Ekho product.
  • Work closely with relevant DMV offices and lending partners to ensure a smooth transaction experience for every customer.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to vehicle sales.
  • Complete, track, and manage applications for new licensure that Ekho is pursuing.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 1-3+ years of experience in operating roles involving process automation, compliance research, or administrative support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle DMV, licensure and lending inquiries professionally.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Skilled in reviewing and interacting with high volumes of sensitive documentation with accuracy and discretion.
  • AI fluency with comfort creating and utilizing AI skills, routines, and workflows to automate manual inputs to work.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Enthusiasm for automotive, powersports, or related vehicle industries.
  • Proven experience in administrative operations and/or compliance, bonus if this was in the vehicle industry and included titling, financing & insurance (F&I), sales, licensure, or similar roles.
  • Experience operating autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment.
