As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our team by ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently with minimal assistance. Your expertise will help us develop a steady customer base, and your proactive approach will see you making impactful in-person sales calls.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Plans territory/account approach and manages own resources
  • Assists in training new team members
  • Assists in creating account development plans
  • Performs inventory management for customer-specific material
  • Communicates with operations team and may serve as a production meeting representative
  • Occasional face-to-face customer interaction and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms
  • All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing sales; metal fabrication experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of fabrication process such as welding, cutting, forming, machining, and assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
