  • Collaborative, high-energy culture focused on results and growth
  • Opportunity to build strategic partnerships throughout the community

Position Overview
The Business Development Manager is directly responsible for driving revenue growth across both B2B and B2C channels. This role owns business development strategy, community networking, lead generation, partnership development, and sales performance.

  • Community engagement activity
  • Lead pipeline growth
  • Master Trainer sales performance
  • Revenue retention and expansion

This role requires someone who is highly proactive, comfortable in face-to-face sales environments, and motivated by commissions and measurable performance outcomes.
What You'll Do
Revenue Generation & Sales Leadership
  • Drive monthly B2B and B2C sales goals and revenue targets
  • Develop and execute local sales strategies that generate consistent lead flow
  • Build, manage, and maintain an active sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, outreach, and lead follow-up
  • Make high-volume outbound and inbound lead calls to prospective B2B and B2C clients
  • Confidently close sales calls by converting leads into scheduled appointments, assessments, and business meetings
  • Schedule and secure B2B partnership meetings with decision-makers in corporations, schools, healthcare organizations, residential communities, and local businesses
  • Book initial fitness assessments for prospective B2C clients and ensure a seamless handoff to the Master Trainer team
  • Follow up consistently with warm leads, inactive prospects, referral opportunities, and community contacts to maximize conversion opportunities
  • Conduct sales presentations, partnership meetings, and discovery conversations
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize client value
  • Track and report all sales activity, lead conversion metrics, booked assessments, and revenue performance within CRM systems
  • Maintain accountability for individual and team sales performance
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing and onboarding

B2B Business Development & Community Engagement
  • Develop strategic partnerships with businesses, corporations, residential communities, assisted living facilities, healthcare providers, schools, and wellness organizations
  • Generate corporate wellness opportunities and recurring business accounts
  • Represent GYMGUYZ at networking events, health fairs, chamber events, and community initiatives
  • Build and maintain a strong referral network within the local market
  • Increase local brand awareness through grassroots marketing and relationship-building efforts
  • Create opportunities that drive long-term business growth and community visibility

Master Trainer Coaching & Sales Accountability
  • Create opportunities that drive long-term business growth and community visibility
  • Mentor and coach Master Trainers on consultation delivery, assessment effectiveness, and sales conversion strategies.

  • Support team development through ongoing coaching, accountability conversations, and performance feedback.

Leadership & Operational Excellence
  • Maintain accurate reporting on pipeline activity, partnerships, revenue, and monthly goals
  • Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives and local market opportunities
  • Ensure professionalism and exceptional client experience in every interaction
  • Represent GYMGUYZ's core values - Determination, Respect, Integrity, Versatility, and Excellence (DRIVE) - in all business relationships and team interactions
