Job Summary:

CommandTec, LLC has a requirement for a Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Curriculum Developer II in support of a federal government customer providing technical, training, and engineering support services for complex systems and operational environments. This position is responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional materials and training programs that support system operation, maintenance, and sustainment activities. The Curriculum Developer II works closely with engineering, installation, and technical teams to translate specialized system knowledge into effective, standards-compliant training products and instructional solutions. Responsibilities may include the development of lesson plans, instructor guides, student materials, multimedia content, and related training documentation in accordance with program requirements and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process and ADDIE methodology to develop training programs and courseware in direct support of Taiwan ITES FMS training requirements
  • Conduct front-end analysis, training needs assessments, and task analyses to identify learning objectives and gaps for Taiwan partner nation end-users
  • Develop Training Support Packages (TSPs) and associated instructional materials aligned to specific FMS system capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain Training Program Structure documentation supporting instructor-led, Train-the-Trainer (TTT), and on-the-job training (OJT) programs.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, installation engineers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate technical accuracy of all instructional content
  • Develop and revise operator and maintainer training curricula for defense systems fielded under Taiwan FMS cases
  • Develop blended learning solutions incorporating classroom, laboratory, simulator-based, instructor-led, Train-the-Trainer (TTT), and on-the-job training (OJT) methodologies, as required.
  • Ensure all curriculum products comply with applicable U.S. Navy, NAVWAR, DoD, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training and education standards, where applicable.
  • Maintain version control and configuration management of all curriculum products throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Coordinate with Translation and Interpretation resources to support localization of training materials for Taiwan partner nation audiences, as required
  • Develop assessments, practical exercises, and performance evaluations tied to FMS system operator and maintainer tasks
  • Develop student course surveys; collect and analyze instructor and student feedback, and prepare lessons learned documentation and training course completion reports to support continuous program improvement.
  • Support Training Instructors and Training Specialists with pre-instruction preparation and post-instruction curriculum refinement
  • Support the planning, development, assessment, evaluation, and execution of classroom, instructor-led, Train-the-Trainer (TTT), and on-the-job training (OJT) programs in coordination with Training Instructors and Government representatives.
  • Track and report curriculum development milestones and deliverables in accordance with program schedules
  • Participate in after-action reviews (AARs) and incorporate lessons learned and partner nation feedback into curriculum updates
  • Prepare curriculum status briefings and documentation for NAVWAR program leadership and government representatives
  • Develop and maintain Training Conduct Support Documents, including lesson plans, trainee guides, OJT handbooks, instructional visual aids, and Training Material Change Data.
  • Ensure curriculum, training plans, and instructional artifacts consider operational mission requirements, system performance characteristics, equipment limitations, and the operational environments in which Taiwan C4 capabilities will be employed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
