In Phoenix Arizona, Roosevelt School District #66 seeks an ESS Self Contained Teacher to teach core academic subjects to 5th through 8th grade Exceptional Student Services students; provide for, direct, and evaluate instructional experience for each student in their charge; maintain lines of communication in conformity with District policy; establish and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues; participate in curriculum development as required by District policy; report to parents regarding student progress and adjustment; interpret curriculum content through contact with students and parents; keep records of student attendance; participate in program planning and evaluation; and engage in self-evaluation and self-improvement pursuant to District policy. Bachelor's degree and Arizona Standard Professional Special Education Teaching Certificate required.
