Position Overview

Elevated Education is seeking an experienced and passionate Curriculum Quality & Development Manager to lead the review, refinement, and enrichment of AI-generated curriculum within our Learning Management System (LMS). This role is central to ensuring that all course content meets rigorous academic standards, reflects Elevated Education's educational philosophy, and delivers an engaging, high-quality learning experience for high school students.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in curriculum development and instructional design, a working familiarity with AI-assisted content tools, and a commitment to academic standards. This person will serve as both a creative educator and a quality gatekeeper, ensuring that every course that reaches students is accurate, standards-aligned, and pedagogically sound.


Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Review & Quality Assurance

ย Review all AI-generated course content for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with state standardsย 

ย Evaluate curriculum against Elevated Education's educational philosophy and instructional design principles.

ย Identify gaps, errors, or areas for revision and implement corrections promptly.

ย Maintain a consistent voice, tone, and structure across all courses within the LMS.


Content Enrichment & Engagement

ย Enhance AI-generated content by sourcing and inserting appropriate images, videos, and multimedia assets that support learning objectives.

ย Apply creative and pedagogical touches to increase student engagement, including real-world application scenarios, discussion prompts, and interactive elements.

ย Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed to ensure technical accuracy.


Standards Alignment

ย Ensure all curriculum aligns with relevant state standards and industry certification requirements.

ย Stay current on updates to applicable standards, regulations, and best practicesย 

ย Document alignment mapping between course content and standards for reporting and compliance purposes.


Gatekeeper & Change Management

ย Serve as the approval checkpoint for all curriculum revisions, software updates to the LMS AI tool, and additions to the course catalog.

ย Ensure that proposed changes are reviewed against organizational plans and receive appropriate leadership approval before implementation.

ย Maintain version control and change logs for all curriculum materials.

ย Communicate updates and revisions clearly to relevant stakeholders.


Collaboration & Leadership Support

ย Work closely with leadership to align curriculum strategy with organizational goals and program growth.

ย Provide recommendations for new course development priorities based on student outcomes, industry trends, and program needs.

ย Support onboarding and training of staff on curriculum tools, processes, and standards.


Qualifications

Required

ย Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Instructional Design, or a closely related field.

ย 5+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related educational role.

ย Understanding of CTE programs, career readiness frameworks, or industry-aligned education.

ย Strong understanding of state academic and CTE standards alignment processes.

ย Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to evaluate content for accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical quality.

ย Proficiency with LMS platforms and educational technology tools.

ย Excellent written communication and organizational skills.


Preferred

ย Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction, Instructional Design, or related field.

ย Experience working with AI-assisted content creation or editing tools.

ย Background in project management or quality assurance processes.
