Our club offers state-of-the-art facilities, including two Ogilvy, Cocking and Mead-designed 18-hole golf courses, a 9-hole short course, and world-class facilities for shooting, hunting, and angling. In addition to our outstanding outdoor offerings, we pride ourselves on exceptional hospitality, with multiple dining and lodging options, all enhanced by our 25-acre farm that serves as the centerpiece of our 4,500-acre property.
Position Summary:
The Club Operations Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily club operations across multiple departments. This position is designed for a hospitality-focused individual who can serve as a flexible operational resource in Food & Beverage, Golf Operations, Caddie Services, Transportation, Housekeeping, events, and other member-facing areas as needed.
This role is hands-on and requires a service-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to quickly move between departments based on business needs. The individual in this position is expected to support the member and guest experience, assist department leaders, and provide dependable operational coverage during peak periods. This is not a desk job.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support daily club operations across multiple departments, including Food & Beverage, Golf Operations, Caddie Services, Transportation, Housekeeping, and special events.
- Provide hands-on support during peak service periods, member events, tournaments, guest arrivals, and high-volume operating days.
- Assist Food & Beverage operations with service support, setup, breakdown, member experience, and coordination with culinary and service teams.
- Support Golf Operations with member and guest service, staging, event logistics, communication, and outside operations support.
- Assist with Caddie Services as needed, including coordination, communication, service flow, and operational support.
- Support Transportation operations by assisting with member, guest, and staff movement across the property as business needs require.
- Assist Housekeeping and lodging operations with guest readiness, inspections, special requests, and turnover support.
- Support cross-departmental needs such as event setups, halfway house support, turn house support, farm barn events, member activities, and special requests.
- Learn and understand club standards, service expectations, operating procedures, and member preferences.
- Communicate professionally with members, guests, staff, and leadership.
- Identify operational needs and take initiative to support the team before being asked.
- Maintain a visible, approachable, and professional presence throughout the club.
- Assist department leaders with daily execution, staffing support, inventory, communication, and operational projects as assigned.
- Maintain timely and effective communication with department heads and leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on club needs.

Work Schedule Expectations:
- Seasonal Full-Time position.
- Schedule may vary based on business needs, member activity, events, tournaments, and departmental support requirements.
- Long hours and extended shifts should be expected during peak seasons, especially during high guest volume, events, holidays, and major club activities.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.
- This position requires flexibility and the willingness to work across departments as operational needs change.
Qualifications:
- Hospitality Management degree preferred.
- Prior experience in private club, resort, hospitality, Food & Beverage, golf operations, lodging, or member service environment preferred.
- Strong hospitality mindset and commitment to exceptional member and guest service.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, management, members, and guests.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service standards, safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, seasonal operating environment.
- Willingness to perform both front-facing service duties and behind-the-scenes operational support.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email communication, scheduling systems, and operational systems as needed.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
