Job description

The Associate Culinary Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination of the Culinary Innovation Team through recipe input, logistical coordination, product ordering, event organization and overall team support.

Responsibilities:

Support the Product Innovation team in delivering against organizational and personal goals, objectives, and strategies

Data input in recipe management system (Agile) as is required by Developers and/or Director of Culinary.

Assist in coordination of product showings (Pipeline, Senior Leadership, FPAC, BOD, FAC) with direction from Director of Culinary.

Coordinate Social Engagement Activations specific to food coordination/ordering & planning.

Assist in execution of SONIC Conventions and Principal Meetings

Support Culinary team with product showings for various events (BOD, FAC, FPAC)

Coordinate and manage food/beverage ordering for CLT's, photoshoots and test kitchen

Other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience

  • 2-3 years' experience of project management experience with a high-level attention to details

  • Team player; collegial - good at supporting teams

  • Incorporate a 'best first' mentality and mindset that continues accelerate our innovation process

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills & presentation capabilities

  • Ability to set goals, determine priorities, plan, organize & follow through on assigned responsibilities

  • Ability to make recommendations & decisions in a timely manner

  • Ability to work independently & as a member of a team

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Accuracy & attention to detail is an absolute must

  • Proven ability to multi-task with little direct supervision

  • Strong interpersonal skills & an understanding of the importance of embracing & fitting into company culture to achieve success with the ability to earn the trust of people devoted to the Sonic way of doing things; empowering people to accept intelligent change as a subtle but effective agent of change

  • Proficient in using Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel & other relevant software programs.
