Job description

Selected individual will become part of the Production Control Support Services team in Palmdale. Candidate will join a select group of individuals who are responsible for providing Production Control support to numerous Palmdale programs.
Individual will be responsible for implementing material flow strategies for consumables, durable & perishable tools in support of legacy and new ADP programs. Individual must be a self starter, posses strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to lead projects from conception to closure. Candidate will work closely with suppliers and Supply Chain Management (SCM) to ensure that consumables, perishable tools, CTK's and Automated Distribution Units (ADU) deliveries meet program requirements.
Will utilize MRP (Material Review Processes), SAP, and inventory management systems such as CribMaster.
Will coordinate and balance multiple sources of demands along with coordinating capacity planning constraint resolution and incorporating corresponding resolution into SAP.
Must have a thorough understanding of SAP MRP systems and CribMaster
Will forecast supply - demand mismatches; communicate up and down supply chain to support demands/supply matching.
Will attend / chair status meetings advising management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
Must have the ability to resolve issues that may arise in the manufacturing process by interfacing with all supporting organizations.
Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Candidate must have the ability to acquire a Secret Clearance, after starting this role.
