Job Description
Storeroom Coordinator
This position is responsible for managing all storeroom operations, playing a critical role in supporting our plant's success by ensuring inventory is accurate, accessible, and aligned with manufacturing and maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain and manage storeroom inventory using the Maximo system
  • Process requests for new items and create purchase requisitions (PRs)
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing team to place and track orders
  • Receive, verify, and properly document incoming materials and parts
  • Distribute and stock inventory in designated locations
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels, including critical spare parts
  • Perform cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Audit and correct documentation discrepancies; create new records as needed
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities
  • Expedite orders with vendors as necessary to meet operational needs
  • Build and maintain effective vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency
  • Evaluate pricing and sourcing options for restocking materials
  • Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Reliability teams to determine optimal inventory levels
  • Support maintenance projects by coordinating and staging required parts
  • Assist with locating, picking, and issuing materials
